MARTHA ROSA NOVA
8/19/1996 - 1/4/2010
Martha, our beautiful 8th Grader passed away last night at Yale New Haven Hospital after struggling with a long illness. Her indomitable spirit touched so many. She was a true Scholar and with quiet leadership influenced her peers with a work ethic of perseverance, hard work, and big dreams. In her few years at Cloonan, Martha won a place in many hearts with her smile, her kindness, compassion, and warmth. She was a wonderful big sister to our 6th Grader, Wendy. Martha will be dearly missed by our family at Cloonan.
Our deepest sympathies go out to her parents, sister Wendy and family.
Rest in Peace Martha

FUND RAISER EXTENDED
Dear Cloonan Families,
A number of weeks ago we sent home with your child a fundraiser package for Grandma's Gourmet Country Pies. If you did not receive one, please let us know.
If you did receive one and have not yet returned it, please do so!! Our budget is very important to maintaining all of the extra programs that the PTO provides for our students and teachers. Without everyone's support, these programs would not be possible. Please, take a minute today to look through the brochure and purchase one (or hopefully more!) of these delicious pies. We are extending the deadline. The new due date for all orders is now Wednesday, October 8th. Thank you in advance for your support of our school!
Sincerely, The Cloonan PTO
